The mission of the Saint Mary's Hall Model United Nations (MUN) Conference is to engage young minds through debate, diplomacy, and diversity.
Founded in 1879, Saint Mary's Hall is a premiere college preparatory school in San Antonio and is known for its rich traditions and commitment to academic excellence. Designed by the famous southwest architect O'Neill Ford in 1968, Saint Mary’s Hall calls its beautiful 60-acre campus in Northeast San Antonio home. When you visit the campus, you will note that we provide the perfect facilities for hosting a remarkable Model United Nations conference. Our campus is situated approximately five miles from the San Antonio International Airport, making it very accessible to traveling delegations.
Our primary objective for hosting this conference each year is to create a great experience for all attending delegates. In order to continue having small-sized and specialized committees, which support strong debate and meaningful experiences, SMH-MUN is capped at 250 delegates. Our committees take place in our Social Science & History Center as well as the Math and the World Languages & Cultures Department buildings.
Your delegation fees are used to provide an excellent staff, small and specialized committees, competitive chairs, and awards that are both diverse and memorable. The registration fee for the conference also includes a hot, fresh lunch in the Peggy Pitman Mays Dining Hall, snacks during the morning break, and an ice cream social before the closing ceremony. Registrations must be made online; however, both credit card and check are accepted. During the registration process, you can pre-order hot breakfast and/or t-shirts. Assignments will be delivered after registration has ended, and only after payment has been received in full or a PO has been submitted and verified by our Business Office.
